The entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan will have similar opportunities in these countries too, Kursiv.kz reports.
Nur-Sultan hosted the signing ceremony of the Memorandum on Cooperation between the heads of PPP centers of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, and Kazakhstan.
The first public-private partnership (PPP) investment forum was launched in the capital. The event was organized by the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Kazakhstan PPP Center JSC to discuss topical issues of PPP development and investment in the projects of Kazakhstan.
Ruslan Dalenov, Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took part in the opening of the forum. He stressed the importance of PPP development for economic growth.
"PPPs are investments, and investments entail GDP growth. Thus, we can say that PPP is an effective, innovative and progressive tool of economic growth," Dalenov said.
The Forum included a signing ceremony of the Memorandum on Cooperation between the heads of PPP centers of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, and Kazakhstan.
The new document will allow Kazakhstani businessmen to participate in social and state projects of these countries. Similar opportunities are opening up for entrepreneurs from neighboring countries. The state bodies, in their turn, will be able to exchange experience and continue cooperation to improve legislation and expand the list of PPP instruments.
