Kazakhstan and Russia signed an agreement that allows the country to start exporting gasoline to the CIS countries, reports Кazpravda.kz with reference to the press service of the Ministry of energy.

"On October 3, 2018 in Moscow at the International forum "Russian energy week – 2018" Minister of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Bozumbayev and Minister of energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak signed an intergovernmental Protocol on amendments to the agreement between of the Republic of Kazakhstan and  Russian Federation on trade and economic cooperation in the field of oil and oil products supplies to the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 9, 2010" the message reads.

The changes will allow you to adjust the imports of petroleum products from Russia to Kazakhstan and the export of oil products from the territory of Kazakhstan outside the customs territory of the Eurasian economic Union at the interagency level (at the level of the energy Ministers of the two countries).

Thus, Kazakhstan will be able to make decisions on the opening/closing of exports or imports of certain types of petroleum products, depending on the balance of the domestic fuel market.

Currently, Kazakhstan has a ban on the export of light oil products. Signed Protocol creates opportunities for the export of light petroleum products of upgraded oil refineries of Kazakhstan.

«...Domestic business, the so-called national bourgeoisie, should be supported in every possible way, and those who prevent its development by unreasonable inspections, extortions, raids should be strictly punished...»
