Malaysia intends to develop economic relations with Kazakhstan. Deputy General Director of Matrade Corporation stated this for the development of foreign trade of Malaysia UAN Latif UAN Moussa at the KIOGE forum, the correspondent of «Kazinform».
According to the state Corporation of Malaysia for the past year between Kazakhstan and Malaysia was carried out trade turnover of $ 80 million.
"And for the seven months of this year, this amount has doubled. Now our goal is to further develop economic relations between our countries. In Kazakhstan, there is our Embassy, and in Almaty in 2014, an office was opened, whose activities are aimed at improving and developing relations between the countries. The office of representatives of our entrepreneurs will be opened in Kazakhstan, as well as in Malaysia there will be representatives of Kazakhstan. A delegation consisting of 14 Malaysian companies arrived at the KIOGE forum, which is traditionally held in Almaty.
The purpose of the event is to cover and discuss issues and topical issues of the oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan, the introduction of "smart" technologies, digitalization of oil production processes.
The organizers of the forum, KAZENERGY, the Kazakhstan international exhibition and conference KIOGE took the decision to hold the event once in two years.
In 2017, 310 companies from 20 countries of the world took part in the exhibition, namely: Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Germany, UAE, India, Iran, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Canada, China, Netherlands, Poland, Korea, Russia, USA, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Japan
Last year the conference hosted 593 delegates and 28 speakers. The organizers plan that this year the number of participants will increase significantly
